When it comes to the average carpenter, work is a hands-on, laborious affair. It often requires working long hours under less than stellar conditions. Carpentry work is a very physical activity that requires strength and endurance.

For the finish carpenter, work requires a dedication to detail. Much of the work done by these artisans becomes an integral part of the interior design of the home. There work is always visible and often scrutinized by the homeowner.

The carpenter work needed for building a home starts with the framing and continues through the construction process. Carpenters are often the first on the job site, and the last to be finished.
