Carpenter Tools
For the carpenter, tools are an essential part of the
job. Most carpenters use a variety of hand tools; powered and manual.
Because of the numerous projects a carpenter might encounter, they often
have large quantity of tools at their disposal.
Powered carpenter tools have made the majority of common carpentry
jobs much easier to accomplish. The two most common powered hand tools
used are skill saw and the hand-held drill. Battery operated screwdrivers
and sanders are also common power tools for a carpenter.
The hammer is the most ancient of carpenter tools. Despite its age,
the hammer is one of the most useful tools to the carpenter. However,
many modern hammers have ergonomic designs that lessen arm fatigue and
tendon damage.
